About The Foster Zoo

My photo
We have decided to blog our adventures again. So much has changed since we last blogged. Bella and Shiloh both went to their forever homes and they are in wonderful families. June Bug got adopted. We quit fostering dogs after those adoptions because Tanker's epilepsy got bad. We quit doing therapy dog work because Tanker's epilepsy got bad. Tanker passed away June 9th, 2013. We adopted a senior border collie named Shania Tankerbelle in his memory. We still have our two cats, Sweet Pea and Little Bit. Wes has started rescuing pitiful bettas from Wal-Mart and we currently have seven. We have a camper. We camp. We have focused on giving our animals the best lives possible. We are The Foster Zoo Crew and we like to have fun.

Mission Help Alabama has begun!

Mission Help Alabama Tornado Victims (humans and animals) has begun!  Wes  is home from work, we are packing up the SUV, and off we go! We are loaded up with coffee. We want to thank the many of you who have made this happen. Jocelyn for her assistance in Alabama; Jackie for the announcements and the donations from Bella Cafe; Michelle Humphries and Georgia Humane Society for donations for the animals; Brian and Candy for collecting from neighbors; Wes' coworkers for donations; Linda Livingston for sending money for supplies; My mom and dad for collecting donations in Georgia and the many bags of their own stuff they are donating; Paul Gilly and his beautiful wife for the many donations; Cheryl for your donations from Georgia; Mary Anne for watching our house and cats; Aquia Harbour Police Department for keeping our home safe while we are gone; the many of you who have have supported us and loved us...There are too many to list!

We are very excited.  I will take a lot of pictures and post them on Facebook and our blog.  Topher and Tanker are coming with us and staying with my parents in Georgia.  We will be coming home with Bella.  We will visit all of Topher, Tanker, and Bella's fans at CHHS counseling office on our way out on Monday.  Topher and Tanker are even bringing their vests to show off to you all.  Thank you for the support you all send us.  We love you!
